It’s been 6 years since I last saw your face
6 years since you walked the floors of this place
6 years and yet it seems it was only yesterday
That you left this world and went away


You left too soon, you shouldn’t be gone
Yet in my heart you shall always live on
The emptiness is something time cannot heal
The loneliness is something I always shall feel


Rest in peace Jackie Douglas, 6 years gone today
I love you always, in my heart you will stay
Gone but not forgotten, memories stay behind
Gone but not forgotten, love still binds.

Awesome poem regarding your father. (Sighs). I am missing my father who became my true friend during the late stage of his life.
